works on paper

sketches

This page is dedicated to my good friend and fellow painter Louis Ulman, who for so many years organized the ‘Open Drawing Sessions’, first at the University of Miami and later at Miami International University of Art and Design.

There we would always find an interesting model to work from. All of these pieces were done from a live model in those sessions and are all approximately 18 x 24 inches or 46 x 61 cms in size and in various types of paper, including Kraft; with Conté crayon and charcoal.
